One 60 minute appointment with a HealthyGene genetic counselor

Review your personal and family health history

Review your genetic test results and any implications they have for your healthcare

Discuss your clinical action plan

Discuss any questions that you may have

You will receive a copy of your pedigree (family tree), a written interpretation of your test results, and a clinical action plan
What information will be covered during the appointment?
During your appointment, we will review your personal and family medical history, your previous genetic test result, discuss any implications your results may have for your healthcare, and discuss any implications for family members.
Can my partner, family member, or friend attend?
Yes, you are welcome to have a guest attend the consultation, as long as they live in a state HealthyGene serves.
Does HealthyGene accept insurance?
We currently do not accept insurance for our genetic counseling services. However, we can provide a superbill upon request which you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Please note, this is for our pre-test and result consultations only. The genetic testing itself may be covered by your insurance.
